Our market starts early and we’ve had a cold winter and spring with lots of freezes. So some of our farmers and vendors will join the market over the first six weeks as their crops come in. Join us for the earliest days of the market and be among the first to support and grow our new White Oak Middle School farmers’ market.
Our Farmers
Crazy Farm – From the Eastern Shore of Westmoreland County, VA. We grow a variety of produce, sugar snap peas, lettuces, strawberries, arugula, basil, Beets, broccoli, sweet potatoes, red and white potatoes, squash, tomatoes, okra, eggplant, fresh herbs, cantaloupe, watermelon, cauliflower, cilantro, sweet corn, hot peppers, onions and more… as they come in season each week.
J & W Valley View Farm - Family owned since 1991 our farm is located in Westmoreland County, VA. We work hard to bring our customers the freshest best tasting fruits and vegetable possible. We are not organic but we only spray when needed and with a very low rate just enough to take care of the problem area. For weed control we plant many produce in plastic what we can’t plant in plastic we cultivate with our tractor when needed we do not use herbicides.
Knouse Fruitlands is a third generation family business, priding itself in growing a wide range of high-quality, great tasting fruits and vegetables. We specialize in tree fruits with over 30 varieties of apples, 20 varieties of peaches, 15 varieties of nectarines, 5 varieties of apricots, as well as sweet cherries, plums, and pluots (plum/apricot mix). We also grow amazing sweet corn, delicious berries, and nutritious vegetables.
Over the Mountain Farm - We are a fully organic, sustainable operation: fresh vegetable and small fruit production, mushrooms and eggs. We follow organic principles and practices, our woodlands are in an active forest stewardship program, our pond and creek are routinely monitored to maintain healthly wetlands. Shearers Mountain Veiw Farm (no misspelling) – We believe in raising the highest quality livestock that we can, our mission is to raise with no hormones or growth promoters and antibiotic free. All natural products that we are proud to serve as well as eat, if we won’t eat it we won’t sell it.

Happy Popping - We are proud to present sweet and salty kettle corn popcorn seasoned with sugar, salt and oil. We make it traditionally in a huge kettle right in front of you, so stop by and try! It might be corny, but sure is sweet!!!
Gigi’s Trini Kitchen - Finely honed Caribbean catering. Our all-naturally sourced ingredients create authentic recipes passed on by our great-grandmother, to my grand mother to my Mom to us. We are happy to share these delicious Trinidadian favorites with market goers.
